Botulax® 100u (Korean)

Botulax 100U botox is Hugel’s pioneer product, made of Clostridium Botulinum Toxin Type A. Botulax 100U and Botulax 200U both botulax version was introduced to the market in 2009. It has led the aesthetic injectable industry of South Korea and has become a standard among its peers. It offers high purity and stable potency, as evidenced by clinical trials and years of research and development. It is designed to improve moderate to severe glabellar wrinkles or frown lines temporarily. Moreover, it also works for blepharospasm, which is the uncontrollable blinking or twitching of the eyelid.

Botulax is available in various variants, one of which contains 100U of Clostridium Botulinum Toxin Type A. It provides three main advantages of other Botox solutions on the market, focusing on their potency, price, and service they offer. Botulax’s potency is strictly controlled following KFDA’s specifications and the company’s stringent quality control. It is also priced reasonably for its quality. Botulax displays stable potency (purity of 99% of the botulinum toxin strain), maintaining a durable solution even after reconstitution. However, it is still recommended that the solution be used within 24 hours after mixing to achieve optimal results.

INDICATIONS

• To improve benign essential blepharospasm in adults aged 18 and above.
• To reduce the appearance of moderate to severe glabellar lines associated with corrugator muscle and/or procerus muscle activity in adults aged 18 to 65.
• To treat upper limb spasticity associated with stroke in adults aged 20 and above.
• Treatment of dynamic equinus foot deformity in pediatric patients aged 2 and above with cerebral palsy.
• To improve moderate to severe lateral canthal lines (crow’s feet lines) associated with orbicularis oculi muscle activity in adults aged 19 to 65.

COMPOSITION
Botulax contains 100U of Clostridium Botulinum Toxin Type A (Strain: CBFC26), 0.5 mg of a stabilizer, mainly human serum albumin, and 0.9mg of a tonic adjuster, particularly sodium chloride.

Hugel produces botulinum toxin in facilities based on cGMP standards to ensure the highest quality. The culture process involves optimizing the culture conditions and undergoing various purification processes to obtain high-purity toxins. The fill and finish process includes sterile preparation/filling, freeze-drying, capping, inspection, and packaging. All processes meet the criteria for producing high-quality Botulax products.
