Patients who suffer from chronic pain caused by diabetes, cancer, MS, HIV, and other diseases have been turning to medical marijuana as a way to treat their pain without the use of addictive pharmaceutical medications.
Caremed Clinic is a Medical Cannabis Evaluation Center for patients living with one or more qualifying conditions for medical cannabis use in Maryland. Our team of cannabis doctors and staff is dedicated to providing comprehensive evaluations to the community. Caremed Clinic is committed to providing safe access to medical cannabis to patients throughout the country. The Caremed Clinic team strives to educate the community on the medicinal value of marijuana. Our clinicians educate our patients on holistic health care treatments, freeing them from dependence on pharmaceutical medication. Process Caremed Clinic is a safe place for patients to spend time with non-judgemental medical professionals and examine holistic treatment options. At Caremed Clinic the concerns of their patients come first. Each patient receives individualized care, and their team develops a medical cannabis treatment plan that meets their specific needs. Patients will need to provide their medical records at the time of the appointment indicating a diagnosis of their qualifying condition. Patients also have the option of allowing Caremed Clinic to access their medical records for them and will need to sign the appropriate medical release to do so. When the patient arrives, they will sign in, provide a valid, government-issued ID or driver’s license, and complete the initial paperwork. Then, they will meet with one of Caremed Clinic’ Medical Assistant (MA) who will review the patient’s paperwork and check their vitals. The MA will answer any questions the patient may have and discuss Maryland’s medical marijuana program and applicable laws. At that time, the patient will receive information about medical cannabis use, potential risks, and side effects. From there they will meet with a licensed medical provider to review the patient’s medical history and various cannabis treatment options that best address their conditions. After the patient’s evaluation, the Caremed Clinic staff remains available for follow-up or additional questions
