What are the benefits of this dermal filler?
  • Genuine, brand-name dermal filler made in France by ObvieLine, part of Sinclair, a trusted medical manufacturer.
  • Made of hyaluronic acid, a substance found naturally within skin tissue and trusted for its aesthetic benefits.
  • With low BDDE levels, thanks to its special E-brid manufacturing technology, this filler may be less likely to trigger an allergic reaction.
  • Large particle size helps the gel remain stable as it fills larger areas with volume.
  • Lasts about 12–18 months after just 1 injection.
How does this product work?

Hyaluronic acid binds to water molecules in the skin, hydrating and volumizing the dermis. This dermal filler contains hyaluronic acid that is cross-linked, allowing it to last longer than regular hyaluronic acid before breaking down and being absorbed into the body. In the meantime, its large particles, at a concentration of 2,000 gel particles/ml, supplement fullness within the skin to restore a youthful appearance or sculpt facial features for a new look.

What are the ingredients in this dermal filler?

This dermal filler contains stabilized, non-animal, biphasic hyaluronic acid gel, with undetectable levels of the cross-linking agent BDDE.

What is the difference between this filler and the other fillers available?

The different Perfectha fillers are comprised of hyaluronic acid particles of different sizes. Perfectha Fine Lines, Complement, Derm, and Deep all have smaller particle sizes, allowing them to naturally fill fine lines, wrinkles, and superficial imperfections. However, with its larger particles, Perfectha Subskin can restore volume to large, deep areas that have significant volume loss.

How to administer this filler product?

To use this dermal filler, inject the gel into the subcutaneous to supra-periosteal facial tissues using the supplied insertion tool, after making an incision at the injection site. You can use the linear or fanning retro-injection technique or the bolus technique to administer this filler. Gently apply the dermal filler with the the supplied insertion tool orifice pointed upwards before slowly withdrawing it from the skin. Stop injecting the filler just before removing the the supplied insertion tool to prevent overflow. Finally, lightly massage the area to adapt the implant to the tissue. Follow proper aseptic techniques throughout the treatment process.

When should I use this dermal filler?

This dermal filler may be used to correct large, deep wrinkles and areas of significant volume loss.

How long do results last?

The results of 1 treatment can last from 12–18 months. To maintain the desired results, top-up appointments will be required.

What areas of the body can I treat with this cosmetic filler?

You can use this filler to restore or create facial volume. This may include areas affected by scars or depressions, including the jaw, chin, and cheeks. You can also use this filler to restore fullness to aging hands or to adjust the shape of the nose, a minimally-invasive alternative to rhinoplasty.

Who is an ideal candidate for this treatment?

The ideal candidate for these treatments is someone who has experienced large amounts of volume loss as they have aged, creating deep skin depressions. This treatment is also suitable for patients looking for an alternative to rhinoplasty to reshape their nose. Since its effects on children are unknown, these treatments are not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women or individuals under the age of 18. Those who are allergic or hypersensitive to hyaluronic acid should avoid these treatments. Do not inject the gel into an area with skin inflammation, lesions, or an existing implant. If your patient has had a chemical peel or other aesthetic treatment, they should wait before getting these injections.

What are the side effects?

Side effects can include sensitivity, swelling, itching, discoloration, tenderness, erythema, or pain at the injection site. More rarely, nodules, indurations, hematomas, granulomas, or infections may occur. Most side effects appear within 1–2 days or up to 4 weeks post-injection. To reduce swelling, you can apply an ice water compress to the skin after treatment. These may not be all the possible side effects.
